Reclaiming: An act of (counter)erasure is an art exhibition organised by Amnesty International Students Rotterdam. This exhibition centres Palestinian art and artists, both those living within Palestine and those who are part of the diaspora. It is an act of reclamation, of space both literally and symbolically, across physical, cultural, and academic dimensions. Through the work presented here, we affirm the existence, resilience, and creative power of a people whose land, culture, and voices continue to be suppressed under Israel’s ongoing illegal occupation.
Please join us in an evening that promises you community and space for both recreation and resistance. Snacks and drinks shall follow. The event also has a fundraiser to support organisations in West Bank and Gaza.

Reclaiming: An act of (counter)erasure is een kunsttentoonstelling georganiseerd door Amnesty International Students Rotterdam. De tentoonstelling stelt Palestijnse kunst en kunstenaars centraal – zowel kunstenaars die in Palestina wonen als kunstenaars uit de diaspora. Het is een daad van terugclaimen: van ruimte, zowel letterlijk als symbolisch, op fysiek, cultureel en academisch vlak. Met de werken die hier worden getoond, bevestigen we het bestaan, de veerkracht en de creatieve kracht van een volk waarvan land, cultuur en stemmen nog altijd worden onderdrukt onder de voortdurende illegale bezetting door Israël. We nodigen je uit voor een avond die ruimte biedt voor ontmoeting, ontspanning én verzet.
